Spider-Man reboot?

Surely they could have just gone with the current movie plotline. Can we please have one superhero franchise that doesn't act like the Batman one? As in no "let's do a total reboot every two movies!" Well the original Warner Bros. saga went four, but the rest only went two. I frankly find that downright ret*d. If you need to reboot something, that means you're probably beating a dead horse.

Is it true that the Lizard will be the villain? If so then I'm on board.

If Lizard is villain, count me in.

Andrew Garfield, if you want to be familiar with his work, has two movies due very soon, one a sci-fi drama "Never Let Me Go" and the other "The Social Network",
aka "Facebook: The Movie."

If not Lizard then Vulture or Electro would be perfect for a first Spider-Man movie. I think that Norman Osborn should be in the movie but would not yet become The Green Goblin. Also I think there should be more scenes with Spidey and J Jonah Jameson arguing. In the other 3 there were scenes with them talking but only one scene from the first movie in which Peter is in costume and webs Jameson's mouth.

Question: If Lizard is villain, who should play Lizard?

I'm pretty sure the Lizard will be CGI, but as for his alter ego Dr Curt Conners I'm not sure. How bout William H Macy because he almost looks a little like Dylan Baker who played Conners in Spider-Man 2 and 3.

William H. Macy would be an excellent choice as Lizard.

Daniel Day-Lewis could knock this one out of the park.

If Sony wants to keep an aspect from Sam Raimi's Spider-Man
movies, they should consider bringing Dylan Baker back as Lizard.

How about Oliver Platt as Lizard?

I asume Peter Parker will be narrating like he did for the original 3 but will it be just for the beginning and end or throughout like Kick Ass. Plus in the comics(never read many though) and cartoon shows we always heared his thoughts, should they do that in this movie? I'm not sure though.
