Movies with unlikeable characters

This isn't so much about me, but rather my Mom. Back when I was a kid, I was home one summer, and for some reason I ended up watching soap operas with my Mom. Well, there was this one show where an evil rich guy who not only was making everyone's lives miserable, but laughed about it. One day, while watching, my Mom suddenly sprang to her feet, and started bitching at the soap opera character! After I told her to calm down, since it was only a TV show after all, rather embarrassed, she laughed timidly and sat back down.

Manos the hands of fate

Generally, any "comedy" in the last 5 years has characters that I can't stand.

The Titanic animated movie. The one that the Nostalgia Critic reviewed. I watched it a couple of times but not properly. I've watched the critic's review so many times because it is absolutely hilarious. The voice acting in that movie is so terrible that it makes the voice acting in the animated series Galactik Football oscar worthy. Also the animation is just bland.

Detour is a critically-acclaimed movie without particularly likeable characters.

Agreed, I've been defending Cruise for years on the strength of his portrayal of Vincent, it's almost embarrassing how cool he is in that role.
