I love monty python and many old comandy shows, thats probably the youngest of the bunch that I like (the others being when raido was out!) I always watch the show or movie when I feel down.
love the bicycling EP they had in season...i think either 2 or 3. was a funny EP :D

my "silly walk" kept me out of army D&C [drill and ceremony, or marching one's ass off], landing me in KP ["kitchen police" or glorified scullery maid]. so it kept me out of something hated to do, in exchange for something a bit more tolerable.
and "the meaning of life" was an outright scream

What? Could you speak in a lower register?

Oh, I'm most definitely a fan of the Monty Pythons!

I think the reason why I'm so drawn to them is because they mix so much intelligence with their zany humour, which makes sense, since 5 of them are geniuses with IQ's well over 140!

One good example that shows how smart they are is the Anagrams sketch:

But I think the best example of all has got to be the Centurion Grammar Nazi from the movie "The Life of Brian", where the centurion guard is more upset about Brian's poor Latin then the message in the graffiti itself!

Yeah, good times ^_^

Years ago, my Dad and I used to watch Monty Python late at night on PBS. My Mom used to think it was the stupidest thing she had ever seen, but my Dad and I loved it.

One Sentence: Dead Parrot Sketch.

also gilliam's animations especially the pilot who puts shaving cream over his whole head... and decapitates himself.

ohh yeah, dead parrot sketch ftw!

the nostalgia critic actually used a variation of it in his review of 'the room'
