What, so if someone started a thread called "I HATE JESUS", you wouldn't expect people to start coming in and sticking up for him? I find you offensive for finding Family Guy offensive.

first off, family guy isn't jesus, second, that "I find you offensive for finding Family Guy offensive" s**t doesn't make any sense

I agree the simpsons in the 90's kicked family guys ass. Family guy is cheesy and dull.

well, as much as i disagree with you about batman, thats one thing we can agree on

brian and stewie are hilarious. peter has his moments, but the rest of it suucks.

Maybe its cause i have AS and don't get my non autistic friends humour but whenever we have a social gathering we watch family guy and they laugh thier heads and i am just sitting thier pretending to laugh and thinking "God how immautere and lame family guys humour is"

its just stupid, random, mostly sexual based, pop culture-filled humor.

Why do you think my friends think family guy is so funny? Unless some of them are just going with the flow and pretending to laugh and find it funny.

Whenever i even dare suggest the simpsons is better they go apeshit on me.

I definitely agree with you about the Simpsons being great in the 90's. Don't think it kicks Family Guy's ass though. The more I watched Family Guy, the more I liked it. Some of it is stupid, but then i'll find myself quoting those stupid bits even while i'm driving or something, and cracking up. I think if the Simpsons had bought a few more characters in, and got rid of a few over the last decade or so, it could still be could. Its just, they done like every situation possible with the same old characters. And the characters have actually changed themselves, not in a good way.

Oh yeah the simpsons is just AWFUL today. The simpsons movies is just crap as well just a stupid excuse to make it more popular.

I think today Family Guy for SURE is better than the simpsons but who knows family guy itself might lose popularity in years to come. To be fair though Family can have some funny moments that can tickle me a bit but really its just trailer trash and babyish humour in some respects. I would think my friends who are in thier early 20's would have a more sophisticated taste for humour but i guess some of them are a little simple........

The simpsons of the 90's was potentially the greatest show on earth but i and others really think the simpsons has outstayed its welcome and should be axed. Do you think though maybe the simpsons might get back on its feet again and be very good again? The simpsons has been having problems for a good decade now.

I tell you one show that I REALLY do love is 'Cow and Chicken'. From time to time if i can still find it on tv i still watch it today.

Well, if The Simpsons and Family Guy do in fact fade away, at least we still have Bob's Burgers.
