I don't have a TV. Was it any good? What happened (list w/ spoilers)?

Aspergers didn't really have anything to do with the plot. Cartman's ass burgers were more prevalent.

Well, it certainly wasn't the episode I was expecting. In the episode, they claim that Asperger's is not real and it's a cover-up for a bunch of cynics. Also, Stan becomes an alcoholic at the end of the episode.

They had a group of "aspies" who were really violent schizophrenics who lived in a matrix spoof. Stan appears to legitimately have aspergers and he's self medicating with whiskey, or maybe that's just me. Either way, this wasn't one of the stories that had a moral attached. It was just a silly cartoon this time. The part with the fast food mascots discussing the cartman burger process made me laugh. I also thought it was funny when the "aspie" guy was blowing bubbles out of his butt. Anyone who was offended by this probably shouldn't be watching South Park. They didn't even attack us really. Look at the episodes about Gingers, Asians, hippies, Mormons, Scientology, psychics and christian rock bands and you'd know what it's like when South Park really doesn't like something.

I didn't see Stan having Asperger's at all, and that's what was funny about it. He was depressed, thought everything was s**t, but blamed it on the vaccine that the school made them get, so it became Aspergers (but only so Cartman could have Ass Burgers).

It was really about ignorance of society. I have known people who uncontrollably do things like pee wherever they want, but that's not AS. This episode was just a lot of loony paranoid garbage that people think of when it comes to mental illness, because they're ignorant.

I think Matt and Trey did this beautifully.

Maybe we aren't different...we just see the s**t in the world. Maybe I'm just being cynical.

I'm going to smoke some weed. It's the only medicine that works for my autism.

I literally can't watch this show. The style of animation and the voices grate on my nerves. However my sister sometimes watches it so if she liked it I'm sure she will act out the entire thing or me. Oh joy.

After watching it, it was not really about AS. They just used AS as a plot device. But it did show how people are pretty ignorant about causes of AS/ Autism.

I just watched it. The whole thing about AS being made up and the stereotyped "ret*d" behavior, which is really also faked by the "matrix" characters, is satire and makes fun of people's misunderstanding of what's really going on. I don't see Stan having AS, either, but I can personally relate to the idea of things seeming sh***y at times. Well done, guys! Or is that medium rare?

Awesome episode. It was really emotional for me, seeing life as s**t, those days that are colorful and full of life is now all just s**t. It didn't make me cry, but I did really feel something.
