I'm probably the odd man out here, but I say Worf.
That's because as a Klingon living among humans most of his life, he remains a stranger in a strange land, whether he's with Federation personal or Klingons. I can sympathize with that feeling.

Yeh. He da man! I've trained in various schools claiming to incorporate ninjutsu, and LVC looks like my dad. I've got both the movies on dvd, but never seen the series.

The Doctor from Voyager. We could sing duets.

Worf. Just because he's Worf. What's not to like?

Chief O'Brien. Because we could have a drink together and slate Bashir.

Data, obviously.

Picard. Although I'd have a hard time being just good friends with him.

Barclay. Because he's awesome, and we could discuss our mutual obsession with Voyager.

Ensign Ro. She was intriguing.

Garak, because he makes me laugh.

Jadzia Dax. Foxy, sassy and smart.


Basically I'd like to live in Star Trek.

Oh yes! Barclay, Garak and Ro would all like me, though Ro would fight it at first. Probably my three favourites, those.

edit: how good were TNG and DS9 that they could have minor characters as compelling as those three? Brilliant. Then you look at Voyager or Enterprise (sorry to any fans) and even the main characters weren't interesting. Voyager had Lon Suder played by the excellent Brad Dourif but he was too interesting for more than a two episode arc. </off-topic>

How could I have forgotten about Garak? Talk about being an anthropologist (or in this case, spy/ agent provocateur) on an alien planet (or station). He literally lives the Wrong Planet experience every day!

If you've been keeping up with The Big Bang Theory, you'll know that Sheldon is again a fan of Will Wheaton (Wesley Crusher), as he gave Sheldon an autographed Wesley Crusher action figure in packaged mint condition...

And now, Brent Spiner is Sheldon's arch enemy, as he immediately tore open the package, and asked if Wheaton remembered when they used to pose the action figures as if they were masturbating.
