The Sherlock Holmes novel adapted into a film, The Valley of Fear.
When he just walks in and goes 'I am Birdy Edwards' it was amazing. I had figured it out really, but still it was good.

How have we got this far without mentioning the original Saw?

Such a classic!

I was reading through the "top ten mind f*****g movies of all time" on some webpage and Memento was listed as #1. I finally watched it a couple years after my high school art teacher recommended it to me. I can't possibly see how it could be number one because before the movie was even over I had it all figured out. It was like the way the film had cut back and fourth matched exactly the way my mind works on a daily basis so the ending was not much of a surprise. I obsess over movies like this.

For me, Sixth Sense, The Prestige - both I thought were excellent because I did not see the twist coming in either, but on rewatch all the signs were there.

Do you like twist endings?
If so, what in your opinion, are the best twist endings you have seen?

Just make a list without avoiding spoilers.
Let's begin with mine.

Fight Club
The Sixth Sense
Primal Fear
The Usual Suspects
The Prestige
The Others
Memento
Psycho
Planet of the Apes {the original, not the remake}
American Psycho
Donnie Darko
Mulholland Drive
12 Monkeys
The Empire Strikes Back

Wow, can't believe no one mentioned Oldboy! Ugh, that was...disgusting, to say the least.
