Now that we know Dumbledore was gay, does anyone know who his partners where?

What about the owner of the Philosopher's/Sorcerer's stone?

Nicholas Flamel had a wife.

Nicholas Flamel had a wife. She was mentioned in the first book. Her name was Perenelle or something (too lazy to walk the fifteen feet to get my copy of the book to check).

It was heavily implied that Dumbledore had a thing with the dark wizard Grindelwald in his misguided youth. There's no indication of any other relationships after that. That doesn't necessarily mean that JK Rowling intended that Dumbledore didn't have any relationships after Grindelwald, but he seems to have been very discreet if he did. Nobody let slip any further hints about Dumbledore's love life when Harry was around, in any case.

Speaking of Lord of the Rings, I think the female elf who rescues Frodo and makes out with Aragorn in the first movie is really hot. I don't know her name yet because I'm only an hour and 45 minutes into the movie and I'm a total noob at LotR. Please forgive my ignorance.

Her name is Arwen. Are you watching the extended edition?

Ah, OK. Thanks for the info. I'm watching the regular edition for now. Since the regular edition is long to start with, I wanted to see if I would like it before watching the extended edition (and so far, I really do).

You can have Pinhead; I'll take the Female Cenobite.

I would have her to but she didn't last long in the series :P

That's one of two reasons I stopped watching Hellraiser after the second installment. The other reason is that Clive Barker quit being involved after that one and everyone knows that once the creator leaves a series, it starts going downhill.

True the only reason I kept watching the hellrasied franchise was all because of Doug Bradley who is such a good actor and very underrated I might add.

Yeah I did know that. I prefer the Female Cenobite in the first movie (because she was more attractive to me), but I watched the second movie because having a 2nd Female Cenobite was better than having none at all, as is what happens in later installments of the franchise unfortunately.

I find it kind of amusing that this thread got started in order to discuss Dumbledore's sexuality and wound up being derailed into a discussion about a minor character from Hellraiser.

Yeah, too bad the Hellraiser movies got so bad. The first two are some of my favorite horror movies. Clive Barker is awesome, I like his books too. I do love the Cenobites, their concepts and designs.

I forget which movie their from ,maybe someone can help me, but I liked the female Cenobite twins. I have an action figure of one of the twins sitting right here next to my computer.

I was surprised because I'd just never thought about it before. I always assumed he was asexual or that helping the wizarding world meant so much to him that he just never really had time to marry. But even if he is gay, he's still a great character.
