I'm not going to list 10 and overload everyone, but I much prefer the new Spidey to Spider-Man 3. And I highly recommend Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut. It was only released to DVD, but basically they hired Richard Donner (director of the first film) to complete his vision of the second film.
Batman Begins is also probably one of the best. Didn't like the second one as much, because I don't really like dark, adult Superhero films. I watch them for escapism, not for...HBO-ism...

Quote:
10) X-Men 2 (2003)
Bryan Singer's hit epic sequel gives us a better plot, action, character development and Hugh Jackman kicks ass as Wolverine.
9) Spider-Man 2 (2004)
Best Spidey movie so far. Sam Raimi's awesome sequel (in my opinion which other people might miss) see's the struggling Peter Parker struggling with teenager stuff e.g. girls, jobs, friends, family, paying the rent while in his spare time fights crime. Kinda cool in a weird way. Doc Ock is not best Spidey villain but best one portray on the big screen.
8) Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)
Chris Evans gives us one of the best superhero performances as the dedicated but vulnerable soilder who gets an upgrade. Awesome movie.
7) Iron Man (2008)
The road to The Avengers begins in this awesome action flick which sees Robert Downey Jr take to the skys as the armoured avenger and fight evil. Best Iron Man movie so far.
6) X-Men: First Class (2011)
Matthew Vaughn's epic prequel is a big improvement over the last two movies with great acting, story telling and action. The best X-Men so far.
5) Kick Ass (2010)
Controversial yes and I will admit maybe a little too far but that's buried in the back of my mind, especially when I'm actually watching the movie but friggan awesome non the less. Matthew Vaughn gives us a great dark and humorous satire on the superhero genre. Hit Girl (as fouled mouth as she is) rules.
4. The Avengers (2012)
Not a Joss Whedon fan, but an awesome flick to say the least. Iron Man awesome, Cap awesome, Hulk awesome, Thor awesome, Black Widow awesome, Hawkeye awesome. well you get the idea. The best of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
3. The Incredibles (2004)
Disney and Pixar gives us this great satire on the world of superheroes with a great plot, characters, action scenes and humor.
2. Batman Begins (2008)
A huge improvement over Joel Schumacher's Batman and Robin. Possibly the best reboot to date, Christian Bale provides to be the best Batman put on the big screen. Thank you Christopher Nolan.
1. The Dark Knight (2008)
The best superhero, the best villain, the best superhero movie, the best Christopher Nolan movie that I've seen and possibly (or The Empire Strikes Back) the best movie ever, all wrapped together in one perfect little package. Not a Heath Ledger fan (RIP) but (aside from Mark Hamill) Best Joker Ever. With The Dark Knight Rises on the way we could have the best movie trilogy ever since Toy Story.
Huge Honorable Mention: Superman The Movie (1978)
I will admit this film probably deserves to be at least in the top 5, but as the years went by more better superhero movies were made but this one will always hold a place in my heart. Christopher Reeve is probably the best actor to portray a superhero on film despite the fact that Superman is not my favourite superhero and that there are ten other movies I like better. John Williams score is probably the best score to a movie ever made.
Here are some other superhero movies I like but I will not talk about them:
Batman (1989)
Thor (2011)
Watchmen (2009)
Spider-Man (2002)
X-Men (2000)
Superman II (1980)
Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (1993)
Hellboy II: The Golden Army (2008)
Iron Man 2 (2010)
The Incredible Hulk (2008)
Hellboy (2004)
Superman Returns (2006)
Batman Returns (1992)
Bryan Singer's hit epic sequel gives us a better plot, action, character development and Hugh Jackman kicks ass as Wolverine.
9) Spider-Man 2 (2004)

Iron Man 2 (2010)
The Incredible Hulk (2008)
Hellboy (2004)
Superman Returns (2006)
Batman Returns (1992)
But with some recent movies released here is a redo. Also the list may not be 100% accurate as I do tend to change my mind now and then.
10) Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)
Chris Evans gives us one of the best superhero performances as the dedicated but vulnerable soilder who gets an upgrade. Awesome movie. Can't wait for the sequel Captain America: The Winter Soilder.
9) Superman The Movie (1978)
I will admit this film probably deserves to be at least in the top 5, but as the years went by more better superhero movies were made but this one will always hold a place in my heart. Christopher Reeve is probably the best actor to portray a superhero on film despite the fact that Superman is not my favourite superhero and that there are a couple of other movies I like better. John Williams score is probably the best score to a movie ever made. Still Supes' best flick. Superman II was a great flick too and probably had the best villain. Superman III and Superman IV: The Quest For Peace were just rubbish and Superman Returns was pretty good. Can't wait for Man of Steel.
8) X-Men 2 (2003)
Bryan Singer's hit epic sequel gives us a better plot, action, character development and Hugh Jackman kicks ass as Wolverine. The X-Men team up with Magneto (Ian McKellan) to save Professor X (Patrick Stewart) and the entire mutant race from the mutant hating warmongering William Stryker (Brian Cox).
7) Spider-Man 2 (2004)
Best Spidey movie so far. Sam Raimi's awesome sequel (in my opinion which other people might miss) see's the struggling Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) struggling with teenager stuff e.g. girls, jobs, friends, family, paying the rent while in his spare time fights crime. Kinda cool in a weird way. Doc Ock (Alfred Molina) is not best Spidey villain but best one portray on the big screen. For the record I have seen The Amazing Spider-Man and although it's not 'Amazing' it's still an awesome flick and probably better than the first one, which was also an awesome flick, but I'm not 100% sure yet. Andrew Garfield is probably a better Spider-Man than Tobey Maguire though I think Maguire is a better Peter Parker than Garfield. Spider-Man 3 was OK but nothing great.
6) Iron Man (2008)
The road to The Avengers begins in this awesome action flick which sees Robert Downey Jr take to the skys as the armoured avenger and fight evil. Best Iron Man movie so far. The second was good too but not as awesome as the first. Can't wait for Iron Man 3.
5) X-Men: First Class (2011)
Matthew Vaughn's epic prequel is an awesome origin story with great characters, story telling and action. The best X-Men so far. X-Men 2 is the second best as you can tell. The first one was a pretty cool start to the franchise while X-Men: the Last Stand was just OK and X-Men Origins: Wolverine was just meh. A follow up to X-Men Origins: Wolverine titled The Wolverine is coming out next year. Maybe it'll be good? But X-Men: Days of Future Past which is a follow up to First Class is coming out in 2014.
4) Kick Ass (2010)
Matthew Vaughn who also directed X-Men: First Class gives us a great dark and humorous satire on the superhero genre about a teenage comic geek named Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson) who decides to take to the streets as a costumed crime fighter and meets a crime fighting father/daughter team (Nicholas Cage and Chloe Moretz) on the way, whose methods of crime fighting are a little extreme. Hit Girl (as fouled mouth as she is) rules. Kick Ass 2 comes out next year.
3) The Avengers (2012)
Not a Joss Whedon fan, but an awesome flick to say the least. Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr), Captain America (Chris Evans), The Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), The Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) team up to fight Thor's evil brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and his alien army. The best movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Iron Man is second and Captain America: The First Avenger is third. Thor was also an awesome flick and is forth on my list, with Iron Man 2 as my fifth and The Incredible Hulk as my last. The next Avengers movie comes out in 2015 but before that we have Iron Man 3 and Thor: The Dark World in 2013 and Captain America: The Winter Soilder, Guardians of the Galaxy and Ant-Man in 2014 that leads up to Avengers 2.
2) The Incredibles (2004)
This wonderful and funny satire on the superhero genre from director Brad Bird and the team of Disney and Pixar sees retired superheroes Bob Parr a.k.a. Mr Incredible (Craig T Nelson) and his wife Helen a.k.a. Elastigirl (Holly Hunter) settling down to raise their family but are forced into coming out of retirement and stop the evil Syndrome (Jason Lee) from causing chaos. Who better to make a great superflick than Pixar.
1) The Dark Knight Trilogy (2005-2012)
Director Christopher Nolan brings us three of the most wonderful, supremely, intelligent superhero movies ever. The first one Batman Begins sees traumatized billionaire Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) travelling the world trying to understand the criminal mind and the means to fight injustice after his parents were gunned down and killed in front of him as a child. He returns to Gotham City and becomes Batman, a costumed crime fighter who strikes fear into those who prey on the fearful and must save the city from villains Ra's Al Ghul (Liam Neeson) and The Scarecrow (Cillian Murphy) with help from loyal butler Alfred (Michael Caine), Police Detective James Gordon (Gary Oldman) and Research Head Lucius Fox (Morgan Freeman). The follow up entitled The Dark Knight sees Batman, Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart) team up to throw the many mob bosses away and destroy organised crime in Gotham however things take a turn for the worst when the mysterious psychotic criminal known as The Joker (Heath Ledger) shows up and causes chaos. The third and final entry in the trilogy The Dark Knight Rises sees Bruce Wayne don the suit again after hanging up eight years ago due to the events of The Dark Knight and going up against the mercenary/terrorist Bane (Tom Hardy) and meets the mysterious Selina Kyle (Anne Hathaway) on the way. Even though that I've put all three movies as number one, let me assure you that I can choose which ones I like the most. I didn't really want my top three superhero movies to be all three DK movies so I decided to put them together as the whole. In any other movie list they would be seperated. The Dark Knight is my favourite, The Dark Knight Rises is my second and Batman Begins is at number three. Tim Burton's 1989 movie was also an awesome. Jack Nicholson was great as The Joker but Heath Ledger was better, Batman Returns is good too. Batman Forever stupid but enjoyable at time and I feel kinda the same for Batman and Robin. Don't get me wrong it was an awful movie yet kinda watchable. I guess maybe it's so awful it's kinda enjoyable, but not that enjoyable.

But now once again I'm gonna make some alterations because apparently my brain is pheeble and who knows I may change it again. I'm not going to explain why I like them.
