He played a Romulan commander in the TNG episode "The Chase".

Which was also the name of a Doctor Who story.

Anyway, enough of my derail.

Actually, while I have seen some bits of Star Trek, there are a few gross scenes that stand out in my mind: Terrell's suicide in The Wrath of Khan (though that's more disturbing due to the fact that he dies in screaming agony), everything involving Armus from Skin of Evil (which I remember from years ago), Admiral Dougherty getting his face split in Insurrection, and, of course, Picard (during his assimilation by the Borg) getting a probe in the eye in First Contact. 8O

Right after the clip ends Data says the man has been lying dead in that hotel room bed for 283 years. 8O

What? The guy who runs in and takes the girl away? That's Peter Davison, I don't think he was ever in Star Trek!

I find this scene memorable for featuring one of my favourite Worf quotes ever, when commenting on how the man dies in his sleep.

The scene with the Ceti Eel crawling out of Chekov's ear in Wrath of Khan, I always found yucky as a kid, lol

It isn't so disturbing in actuality, but when I was pregnant with my son I was home alone late at night and my hormones were all screwy (I bawled for hours over Revenge of the Sith, for crying out loud...) and was watching the TOS episode "By Any Other Name" And it freaked me out so badly when the aliens turned the people into the little chalky cubes, then crushed one. I couldn't sleep until my now-ex husband came home. I don't know why it freaked me out, and can't even say whether it scared me or depressed me or just made me sick, but I still won't watch that episode.
