Then you could very well be aspergian. Few commercials make sense to me either.

They really are a nuisance.

Also, when you realize they're just trying to manipulate you into buying something you don't need they become irrelevant really quickly.
Immunity ftw! :D

Many commercials try selling you crap you don't need...it's ridiculous. Like all the cleaning soap types (almost said software haha), conditioner, shampoos, nail polish, etc... and that's just the stuff aimed at women. At least most of what they try to sell guys is actually somewhat useful. Only thing I regret buying from ads is a pasta strainer (but unlike the commercial all small pasta/spaghetti just falls off the sides/bottom!)

I don't understand the commercials that advertise their product in a very obscure way, or present something that doesn't really relate to the product at all, like most car commercials, shows a car driving through some location, say what the model is at the end and then end to commercial there.

You've summed it up perfectly.

With a car commercial like you've described, they could drag and drop any car model into the same setting, with the same road its driving on and the same music and the commercial wouldn't be any different, since there's no actual substance or message being presented. It says nothing specific to the car model or why its better than any other model.
