Agreed. Although I would liked to have seen a scene where the PG&E executives were made to pay the money that they were made to pay just to see their reactions of it.

Amelie

After helping others throughout the movie, Amelie finally gets together with Nino.

I think the scene where Erin gives their lawyers a verbal kicking more than makes up for it.

True enough, but I get a real kick out of watching people like that acknowledge their downfall. Like Al Capone in The Untouchables movie. That was a satisfying ending.

Ghosts Of Mississippi.

When the smug racist murderer, who had escaped justice for years and years for the murder of black civil rights champion Medger Evers due to racist juries, finally gets convicted. So many years had passed that he's now an old man, and knows he'll die in prison.
Based on a true story.

The Departed

For some reason, just liked how Walberg took care of that last detail in the movie.

Too bad that Scorsese ruins it by panning the camera up and showing us the CGI rat crawling along the ledge of Matt Damon's balcony, as if to say, "GET IT?! A RAT?!" It's this kind of loud and obvious BS that makes The Departed pale in comparison to the more subtle Infernal Affairs.

Well, that and Damon and DiCaprio's mediocre acting.

Ocean's Thirteen

Danny Ocean and his team make Al Pacino pay for double-crossing Elliott Gould, Andy Garcia's cut of the money is donated to charity, forcing him to publicly admit his philanthropy on television, and he tricks Toulour with fakes. . . again!

Disney/Pixar movies tend to end on a happy note.

Back to the Future Part III

At the end of the trilogy, both the past and the future have been changed for the better and Doc has even managed to find a special someone.

Cabin in the Woods. One of the best movie climaxes ever if you like that type of film. Some movies will lay the groundwork for an interesting setting or potential outcome and then never deliver on what they hint at, or wait for a sequel to give you what you expected. Skyline is an excellent example of a lackluster ending in that regard, and it bombed so its not getting a sequel anyways. Cabin on the other hand, once you realize whats going on, it kicks it up to 11.

and one movie which had an absolutely CRAPPY ending, was "the crying game." what an effin' cop-out of an ending!

Labyrinth

Sarah returns home with her baby half-brother and she is joined by her friends from her adventure in the labyrinth.

Brain of Blood; Villain takes control of the entire country and has its nominal ruler serving as his puppet who is giving a speech outlining his plans for governance.

Argo

The plan was a success: They got out of Iran and made back to America!

I'm currently watching Emilio Estevez and Harry Dean Stanton in Repo Man - an oldie but goodie that I can never get tired of.

I had finished watching the bloody Japanese horror/crime movie Ichi The Killer. Not for the faint of stomach.

Both satisfying endings - even if Ichi The Killer was more than a little odd in it's ending.
