That was one the of long episodes where B.J. arrives the first time.


Was that the one where one doctor (Trapper John?) was going home and Hawkeye and Radar try to catch him but can't, then they pick up the new doctor (BJ?), go into a bar and have a drink with Radar wearing the strange insignia?


That's right. Hawkeye missed Trapper by ten minutes and Radar was a 'Corporal-Captain'.


I agree that that was a pretty good episode.

I also liked the one where the "intelligence" guy thought that the weekly poker meeting was some kind of communist planning meeting.


Oh, yeah. Winchester got Flagg good that time!

Oh, it's such a nostalgia-trip for me...
We used to watch it at my dad's place on friday evenings after dinner, he had an old black/white TV and we'd eat 'dill and leek'-flavoured potato chips and drink some bitter grapefruit flavoured soda on his bed. (No wonder he was always complaining about crumbs in hid bed...)
Back then we only had 2 TV-chanels in my country, but we were lucky because we live close to another country and had access to their (one) TV-chanel as well...
It must have been in the early 80's...
I think I'll get some of those chips and that soda tomorrow, and see if I can rent the movie. Gah, now you made me miss my dad. :cry:
