I love The IT Crowd. I got the DVD of the first series as soon as I watched an episode on TV. My favourite episode is Calamity Jen.

Yes, they might be seen to be making fun of Aspies, but they do it so lovingly, the characters are great, really likelable because of all their quirks.

Yes, maybe they are making fun of Aspies, but my God, do they make more fun of NT's! Look at their boss! They make fun of everyone, nobody is spared!

I also love Jen, gorgeously dysfunctional. Right now I'm glad my wife doesn't read my posts. She'd never let me watch it again!

I must have this DVD...like now lol...That is some good wholesome punishment, more please, with a side of bacon.

I remember the whole phone number from episode 2

0118 999 88199 911 725 ............ 3

It was hilarious when Moss got the fire extinguisher that was made in britain. The first series was the best.

I've heard that an American version is being made as well.

Really? I hadn't heard that. But, when the Yanks try to copy British comedies, it is never as good as the original.

I watched some episodes of this online, it's not available in the US as far as I know, and I couldn't stop laughing. I love the time he needs to put out the fire but carefully reads the instructions on the fire extinguisher first.

This is the fire extinguisher scene, and of course he emails the fire department for help because he messes up on the phone!

I love this show. I know that most people wouldn't be able to identify with the characters as computer geeks, but I think they can appreciate the humour, since it's about not fitting in with so-called "normal" society. I personally identify more with Moss, because he's the shy, quiet one who doesn't always "get it".

It's airing in Canada on G4 TechTV, but they've only got about six episodes so far. How many more episodes are there? Plus, I heard that they were going to make an American version of it, but it never got off the ground.

There are twelve episodes, six in each series. The first two are the best.

Though it was silly when Moss was wearing a protective helmet to peel an orange.

If you actually do that it just comes up with Google's pages. But it's silly that it would break the internet.

I love the IT crowd. A lot of people I know thought it was crap but I think they just watched one episode.

I love Roy's voice and the way that he emphasises everything and when Jen gets mad. Richard Ayoade is great in everything, and also very hot.

It never crossed my mind that it was targetting AS. I think you can read into things too much if you're paranoid about that kind of thing. It obviously makes fun of lots of different people.
