I pick up jingles and theme songs very easily. I like to watch the look on my husband's face when he hears me sing the song from a show like "American Dad" from start to finish. One, he can't believe I know it. Two, he can't believe I'm singing it.
The thing is, though, I don't make an effort to learn them. They just stay in my mind somehow without me trying. And I can still remember the songs from commercials and tv shows that went off the air when I was a child. Anyone else?

on topic:

I like all the shows IdahoAspie likes, except for FOX (FOX news I assume) and football. Also there are a couple of shows on the list that I've never seen. I also have the same dislikes, but I would add that I don't think anyone likes infomercials, aspie or not. :D

American Dad is another one of my favorites.

Late Night with Craig Ferguson! I adore him. Why don't more people watch this?

And:
Lost
and anything on the food network or history channel.

THE WIRE - best thing to ever grace television

Arrested Development - best thing to ever be ruined by Fox

Mr. Show with Bob and David - HBO's forgotten Gem

Oz - intense, intense, intense!

The X-Files - just starting to watch it all over again for the first time since its finale, and its so rewarding

Seinfeld - how can't you enjoy a show about nothing!?

The Twilight Zone - the 4th of july only means one thing to me and this is it.
