Me: "Say, Yakko, how exactly is it that you are heir to the throne?"
Me: " That is a good question. "
Prime Minister: "I present the heir to the throne."
(Fanfare)
Me: "Now is your chance to explain, Yakko."
Yakko: (Singing) "People of Anvilania, I'll bet you're all wondering, who is this young unknown? And why am I heir to the throne?"
Me* This should be good. *
Me: "Yes, indeed."
The people: (Singing) "Yes, why? Yes, why? Oh, please, please, tell us why!"
Yakko: " I'm the King's brother Uncle... "
Yakko: ". . .whose cousin is the aunt. . ."
I've to be honest, I don't remember much after this.
Neither do I, James. I only improvised. I don't feel like going through the trouble of looking it up, either. So let's try this:
(Yakko explains how he is very very distantly related to the first king)
Me: "Did you get a word of that?"
Wakko and Dot: "No."
Oh well, it was worth a shot.(Shrugs) Oh, well. Moving on. Now this part I know.
The People: (Singing) "And that is why. . ."
Yakko: (Singing) "I am now your king!"
The People: (Singing) "He is now our king!"
Yakko: (Singing) "Yes, I am now your king! Repeat what I just said!"
The People: (Singing) "Repeat what I just said!"
Me: " Did people just repeat everything? "Me: "He did say, 'repeat what I just said'."
Yakko: (Singing) "And let the anvils ring!"
(Anvils are hammered and rung)
Me: " Just checking. "
Prime Minister: (To Yakko) "Come, your majesty. It is time for your coronation."
Yakko: " Okay! "
(We walk into the palace and approach the throne)
