James Bond: No Time To Die.

While I definitely enjoyed it, it wasn't by any means my favorite. Still, gives this Bond a memorable send off, and allows for a whole new Bond franchise to begin.

It's a good movie. I wish it did better at the box office.

We just watched:

This is the End [2013]
=-="Nothing ruins a party like the end of the world."

You should not take this move seriously—they didn't.

Lizard In A Woman's Skin (1971)

Released as Schizoid in the USA

Directed by Italian Lucio Fulci, with an international cast and set in London. This belongs to the so-called 'Giallo' Italian murder mystery genre, and seems to be exceptionally polarizing as to its reception. Some critics rate it a masterpiece, others a load of pretentious rubbish. Stanley Baker, who plays the lead detective, belonged to the latter camp and regretted having anything to do with it.

I found it perfectly watchable, but it certainly didn't make much sense at times and the plot was highly convoluted. The style and atmosphere of the film is a bit reminiscent of Nicholas Roeg's Performance (starring Mick Jagger), which was released at pretty much the same time.

This evening we watched:

Kung Pow: Enter the Fist [2002]
-=-"Une Parodie Au Pays Du Kung Fu."

Fun. Insane but lots of fun.

In What's Up, Tiger Lily? [1966] Woody Allen took a Japanese action film and re-dubbed it, changing the plot, creating a crazy-fun film. In 2002 Steve Oedekerk, along the same lines, started with a Chinese kung-fu movie but had better technology and less restraint as he created this crazy film.
