Last night we watched:

Westworld [1973]

The movie is OK. I recommend avoiding the resort, though.

The Beast Within.

Great eighties horror! After talking about this last night with buddies while out drinking, I went home and watched it again. Highly recommended! Not to be confused with the more recent werewolf movie.

Set in 1966 on a pirate radio station based on Radio Caroline.

Last night we watched the sequel to Westworld:

Futureworld [1976]

We both thought it was OK.

Just sat through a movie on Netflix
Think it was called Don't Move

I didn't move either but it was 90 minutes of my life I'll never get back, I can tell you that much

Interesting.
It starts out very normal, and then weird things start to happen. It all makes sense in the end.

Well worth a look at and it's only a 90 minute movie too

I rewatched "The Bedford Incident" made in 1965. Excellent cold war movie. The tension building is terrific and it has an unforgettable ending.

war of the worlds [1953] on Blu-ray. very sharp but I think they under-did the lurid colors of the previous DVD. that was a bit of a let down. but at least it was in 5.1 surround sound and it had a bit more bass in the explosions.

a wrinkle in time, the wonderful Madeleine l'engle masterpiece, made into a decent film adaptation.

House (1977)

I need to watch this again. While watching it, I thought it was from the 1980s because of the computer effects, but they were 1970s video effects. But then there were some film effects from 1930s.
Still, I need to watch this again because it was definitely unusual.

Pretty good A24 movie.
