I recently got caught up on reading the Katekyo Hitman Reborn! manga. There are a few problems I have with it, but even so it's like my new thing now and I've been kinda obsessed with it for the past few days.

The first anime I ever saw was Pokemon the First movie when it came out in theaters. When I was little I loved watching Pokemon, Digimon, Yugioh, Medabots, Cyborg 009, Hamtaro, etc. Basically all my favorite shows were anime, even though I didn't know it was anime.
The first anime that I knew was anime was Fullmetal Alchemist. Yeah, I was obsessed with that for at least a year. XD So one thing led to another and I ended up getting into anime and manga.

I enjoy Pokemon and Dragonball/DBZ/DBGT but hated the film from hollywood

Good movie, but it's easy for me to get sick of it. I might have to pick up some Studio Ghibli films soon. I actually got my friend Princess Mononoke for his birthday.

I remember I thought Spirited Away was the greatest thing ever when I first saw it. That and Kiki's Delivery Service. I got Spirited Away on DVD and Kiki's Delivery Service used to come on Disney channel all the time and I got excited every single time it came on. So much nostalgia.
Laputa, Princess Mononoke, and Howl's Moving Castle were awesome too, but I only watched those once or twice.

I need to get around to watching a couple more Ghibli films sometime, but I'm not much of a movie enthusiast. If it's too long I get tired and don't want to watch it all at once unless it's just amazingly good or I have someone to watch it and make comments about what's happening with.
