I feel obligated to comment with a list since I consider myself an expert cinephile and trash/exploitation/b-movies are one of the subcategories of my primary interest. I assume that most readers here will have never seen nor heard of the majority of films I'm about to list and I must forewarn you that these are not even bad in a good way. If you are looking for something more akin to that type of film, let me recommend Troll 2 directed by Claudio Fragasso. It is very entertaining and you might enjoy watching the documentary about this cult phenomenon called The Best Worst Movie afterwards. Currently, this documentary is circulating the film festival circuit. Check out the website for more details: www.bestworstmovie.com

OK, in order of wretchedness and without further adieu...

1. The Exorcist 2
2. Battlefield Earth
3. Headless Eyes
4. Puppet Master vs. Demonic Toys
5. Camp Blood
6. Black Devil Doll (the original, shot-on-VHS movie, not the new one aforementioned in this thread made by the guys from Rotten Cotton)
7. Deathstalker 4
8. Slaughtered Vomit Dolls
9. The Pig F!%$ing Movie
10. 2001 Maniacs: Field of Screams
11. Simon Sez
12. The Blade Master
13. Hunting Humans
14. Furry Vengeance
15. Billy the Kid vs. Dracula
16. Dracula vs. Frankenstein
17. Freddy Got Fingered
18. El Chupacabra
19. The Neverending Story 3 (as much as I love Jack Black, this film is inexcusable)
20. Grendel

I did see the tail end of Billy The Kid VS. Dracula, and it was more than enough for me. And as horrifying a thought as it is, I somehow managed to see part of something called Jesse James VS. Frankenstein's Daughter.

Lol! Unfortunately in the land of exploitation cinema, the titles, marketing/advertising, and hype are usually far better and more exciting than the actual films they are peddling. If only half of these films lived up to their promises there'd be a lot more entertaining movies :D

I can't believe Freddy Got Fingered is being mentioned. That was Tom Green's movie, and it delivered exactly what people should have been expecting. I was happy watching it.

Campy horror, Blaxplotation and movies like that shouldn't count as they are supposed to be cheesy. Pink Flamingos, for example, was a movie made for the sole purpose of being disgusting and offensive. If the movie was succeeded in making you feel that way then it was a good movie, not a bad one.

1991's Cool As Ice gets my nomination. Although I must admit that I love the movie personally. This movie was supposed to portray Vanilla Ice as being cool, but instead he unintentionally became a comedic genius.

Worst movie I ever saw? In a theater? Ishtar (Warren Beatty, Dustin Hoffman, Isabelle Adjani), a two-headed hydra such that each head bit off the other's neck.
Elaine May (who directed that turkey act) didn't know whether she was making an unfunny buddy picture or a remake of Star Wars (i.e. Episode IV, A New Hope).

Tom Green's television show was very funny in my opinion and his film was extremely unfunny and fell flat... not at all what I was expecting.

Assuming the writers and directors of campy horror, etc, intend to entertain their audience, then their movies are only precluded from my list if they succeeded, albeit unintentionally, by making me laugh with or at the movie or kept me engaged in some other way. The ones I listed were very boring and not even entertaining to poke fun at.

Cool As Ice - Unintentional comedic value and loving the movie should keep that title out of this thread and its intended purpose.

Stargate and Batman and Robin were both so appalling that I started crying in the cinema. I hated them. Also hated Titanic. I was actually rooting for the iceberg... those twee "Oirish" dancers and story tellers below deck made me, as an Irish woman, want to hurl.

I almost forgot Sleep Away Camp.
This should - have - been - an - abortion was indescribably bad! But if it is to be remembered for anything, other than for being so awful, its climatic scene predates that memorable revelation from The Crying Game. 8O

Roger Ebert said that the day may come when Freddy Got Fingered is seen as a landmark in neo-surrealism, but the day may never come when it is seen as funny. I would have to say the later is still true. Jury's still out on the former.

Lol oh so true.
I really want to see Billy the Kid vs. Dracula now. It sounds horrible, and I love a laughably horrible film.

On the other hand, here are some not so laughably horrible movies:

Timecop (the ONLY movie I have never been physically able to finish)
Spiderman 3, such a disapointment
The Pink Panther remakes
Salt (this is probably only here because I hate Angelina Joline or whoever the hell she is)
My Sisters Keeper (they butchered a decent book, and I really hate Angelina Joline)
Timecop again

And thats about it. I love most movies; the worse the better.

Independence Day- not really a script, just a list of trite hyper-jingoistic schtick, one after another.
Looking over the above, I'm realizing the movies I hate all have a common theme: if scriptwriters have to rely on the end of the world as a plot device, it's because the characters they create lack any nuance of motivation.

I remember watching Independence Day.How could I forget to put that in,but then again it should be a forgettable film.

A lot of the movies you guys are mentioning aren't even bad, you just don't like them.

I was part of the unlucky few that actually saw Battleship Earth is theaters so I'll go with that.

Anyone ever seen a movie called Naked Space? Don't.

My dad took me to see the Garbage Pail Kids Movie when it came out at some cheap movie theater. It featured midgets with prosthetic makeup to make them look like characters from the cards. It was horrifying. Here's a scene:

I think this was the only movie I ever walked out of.

I don't think I'll be able to eat or sleep for a week after watching THAT.

Oh, and here's my pick for the worst movie I've ever seen.

Imagine, male cows with udders, ugh.
