This is a McDonalds ad and McD isn't great, but anyway. This ad is good.

A young man throws a coin into a fountain, and thinks "I want to be irresistable to women."

He promptly changes into a puppy.

A young woman comes along, and says in a lovey-lovey voice, "You want to come home with me?"

She picks him up, and says, "But first we'll have to get you fixed."

Then an old man says, "Ah, the dangers of loose change."

Well, it's about time someone mentioned the 1984 commercial.

Don't forget the American Express commercials with Karl Malden.

Bud Light's "Real Men of Genius" ads are the best radio commercials I've ever heard. I was even able to download about 75 of them from a fansite before Budweiser got all pissy and shut them down.

In the recent gubernatorial election campaign here in Texas, Governor Rick Perry used ads that mocked those commercials.

He's not the only one. There's a radio show that comes on the local rock station weekday morings, and one of their segments is a mock ad called "Real American A-holes", where they make fun of somebody (usually politicians) doing something illegal, immoral or downright stupid. (Hence the name). The segment ends like this...

Rock 103's 'Real American A-hole's' wrote:
... So [insert name of a-hole here], bend over and grab your ankle, because you are today's Real American A-hole!

THIS IS HILARIOUS!

There's a commercial for Nivea For Men shaving products that I really like. It has different scenes from different kinds of action movies, of men fighting with swords or throwing knives, ending with a guy projecting five long sharp blades from his fingertips... Then the voiceover comes on and says "Whatever blade you shave with, use Nivea After Shave Balm for today's closer shave!"

I've seen that one before. I think that last scene was from one of the Blade series...
