It's not just red ice I'm starting to grow tired of. Most of these types of shows are too much pop culture or family entertainment for me. I'm looking for truth, not entertainment.

last night's show with yitta halberstam was interesting :alien: she was talking about how in jewish history, during the holocaust, there were examples of people [jews] still alive due to intervention from the beyond [deceased family members coming to them in dreams, for example, and guiding them to safety].

LOVE that song you sent me. In fact I've played it a couple times on MY radio show. Never heard of him before. I assumed that Art Bell, and his successors would be embarrassed if they knew about this musical spoof of "Coast to Coast"- but when I googled "UFO Phil" it turns out that UFO Phil is a regular guest on Coast to Coast!

I think that this sentiment that I have is very related to autism, it's basically a form of egoism or evil but the more friends the less substance. I can see a value in having a mentality of altruism, wishing every blessing on everyone and nothing for yourself etc. however I'm not sure you gain very much enlightenment from that approach. I've seen countless examples of how shallow people are that are popular. But more socially adapt people are the people that produce. I think Nightcrawler is a good movie to illustrate various points of this subject.

I'm sure these two men get lots of attractive women, and I'm sure they produce a lot, but I'm not sure they're very deep.

That's also why I feel that I have to a large extent grown out of the whole "truth movement".

That's the thing, you can make lots of people believe they are taking the red pill, this being that belief which is part of the blue pill.

I have been thinking a lot about this lately and discussing it. I have compared this to the dialectic of Hegel and Marx, and the vanguard party that Marx spoke about. The vanguard party pushes constant revolution and war, and this appears to be related to the sentiment that I have. I have also been thinking about Jews and Israel, for example the significance of "rejecting Christ" or "killing Christ". And I've been thinking about what this has to do with various aspects of psychology. It seems to me that if you're striving for truth you have to keep alienating yourself from others, the sense of community is what clouds people's vision. So basically only mentally disordered and mentally ill people are real truth seekers. Here are some items of information that I've been thinking about regarding this subject:

Once in a while I will listen to C2C. We have a local news/talk station in Yakima that airs Coast, and literally every other city has a Coast affiliate in the US. Going through the AM dial each night and hearing the CA, OR, NV, UT etc stations that come in, most of them after 10PM have Coast on.
I enjoy when George has his open lines late in the broadcast, or the annual "Ghost to Ghost AM" broadcast on Halloween with ghost stories.

Art Bell's "Somewhere in Time" reruns are also good to listen to as well. The older the better. Just a couple weeks ago it was an early 1996 broadcast being reran on the "Somewhere in Time" show. He mentioned an earthquake that shook Indonesia that night.

KIT (1280) simulcasts on 99.3 out here in Yakima, so I sometimes flip to the FM simulcast instead. KYYT is over a bunch of 3000-4000 foot mountains and never makes it here, even though it's 45 miles. In the lower valley south of Yakima it's very hit and miss, and KYYT is not strong until you get onto US-97 probably 20 mi north of Goldendale.

But again, I enjoy the open line shows. One caller will talk about UFO sightings, the next about chupacabras, the next about ghost sightings.

As I do not get KIRO 97.3 either in Yakima (the Seattle Coast to Coast affiliate) due to mountain blockage (it only comes in briefly for a few minutes and fades out for much longer), I don't hear the ads for West Seattle Coins/Bellevue Rare Coins, which were on ALL THE TIME when I lived in Snohomish County.
KIT mostly airs a Fox news update, weather forecasts and a few PSAs during the C2C break times. Several for United Way, Peace Corp and the Mennonite Churches (!?) It's an anabaptist Christian church. Which I'm sure George or Art has talked about in the past on the show.

I used to when I was living in my former town - came in on a local station overnight, I'd sometimes hear the entire thing if I couldn't sleep, or drift off to it...and have some very odd dreams.

In my current location, for some reason there is no radio reception in my apartment.

In my previous city, AM. Here, I haven't even checked - NOTHING comes in.
