This Is The End

All the actors play dumber versions of themselves in this new comedy from Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. Not exactly a stoner comedy, but much more of a dark comedy involving the apocalypse.

Very hilarious movie. All the actors gave great performances and I wasn't expecting the auditorium I was in to be packed, but packed it was.

Sinister

Supernatural horror about Ethan Hawke's washed up true-crime writer who moves his wife and two kids into a house where a family were horrifically murdered months ago. He discovers a box containing a film projector and several reels of 8mm films that look like harmless mementos, so he plans to use them as inspiration for his next book. However, he unwittingly releases an ancient Pagan sumerian demon that consumes the souls of children.

Dark, creepy and unsettling, don't watch alone

I had seen it when it first ran in the theaters - very decent horror film.

Oz: the Great and Powerful

A prequel of sorts to The Wizard of Oz where the 'wizard' lands in Oz and becomes the wizard of Oz. I found it to be entertaining.

Remember what he said to the umpire?

I can't look at a baseball umpire without getting a smile and a giggle.
