Reality shows, regardless of the subject, would be GONE. Most annoying is that History channel is damn near exclusively reality shows. :x

I agree, with 2 exceptions: Solitary and Beauty and the Geek.
Solitary is one of my favourite shows of all time. It's not like any other show.

The fourth Season is on Youtube but I seriously don't recommend starting there, for several reasons. Basically, it's not as good as the others, by far, and it'll ruin things from Season 2. Just saying, in case you or someone else decides to watch it. It was canceled years ago, though. You can download or stream every episode from the pirate bay or primewire.
I love this show :D

omg I used to LOVE watching Solitaire with my dad, that was some crazy stuff in there that I won't forget about. Beauty and the Geek, don't care much for.

I am just finishing up season 1 of Revolution on DVD and understand that after season 2 of the broadcast (just finishing now), there is some question about season 3 renewal. I am on the fence about it, based on season 1: some good material and ideas, but it's inconsistent and sags too much.

most reality shows ( only ones I can stand are Heroes of Cosplay & DWTS...too bad Splash got cancelled )
Two & A Half Men ( how does this piece of shtako keep getting renewed? CBS better renew The Crazy Ones to make up for that garbage )
At least 1 Law & Order & at least 1 CSI. Sick of damn near every channel running at least 1 of them for hours on end...
Twisted ( they cancel The Lying Game & Bunheads for that garbage? )
most of the garbage on Cartoon Network ( they cancel ThunderCats, Young Justice and Generator Rex but keep lame garbage like Uncle Grandpa, Annoying Orange and Regular Show? WTF? )
Spongebob Squarepants. That little POS needs to die.....

Pretty much every reality TV show, especially competitions. I just don't see what people like about them.

Anything on MTV that isn't music-related. They pretty much ruined that channel for me.

Here Comes Honey Boo-Boo (Seriously!? This is still on?)

Dance Moms (Why would they keep this show about some psycho b**** dance instructor on the air? This is unneeded.)

Spongebob Squarepants (End. This. Now.)

Seconded. The post-Sheen era is totally unwatchable.

My main complaint about CN is the people have no understanding about what made them and their shows great. They air comedy shows because viewers like comedy. [sarc]Oh wow, how did they come to that conclusion? It couldn't be that Johnny Test reruns took up half more or less of their programming block.[/sarc] Teen Titans was one of their more critically acclaimed shows and they put two and Two :?: together.

As for Spongebob, yeeeeaaaah, kill it. I don't care if people are saying newer seasons are getting better. They're not. I still see Squidward torture prons (misspelled on purpose). Squid Baby? I can't make sense of the beginning of that atrocity so I'll just pretend seasons 1-3 as well as the film never happened. It's the only way that can make a lot of bad episodes make sense. We can all agree that old Spongebob and new Spongebob existed in two separate parallel universes and then they came together and one ate the other out of existence. I don't know if that's how it works in theoretical physics. I'm not an expert.

I would be pleased if most shows purporting to be "reality" were cancelled. That genre has devolved to incredibly low levels. I understand that they are relatively cheap to produce, so perhaps that helps keep them around.

The Big Bang Theory.

It used to be great, finally a show that I could relate to, a show that encapsulated the frustration of the nerd fawning over a girl way out of his league, as well as the miscommunication between those who could easily socially interact, those who wanted to but were more interested in other things, and those who couldn't give a flying you-know-what about everybody else...but now it's just another sitcom about relationships and the (inevitable) problems that happen from them, just with some words that people are less likely to understand. The show, for me anyway, ran it's course years ago.

Law & Order SVU

That show is nothing but violent pornography. It seeks to give its faithful audience all sorts of vicarious thrills in hearing explicit and pornographic descriptions of sexual violence, rape, pedophilia, sexual murder, etc. Hypocritically, at the end of every episode, after gleefully wallowing in the sordid details of horrific violence, it tries to paint a picture that everything is alright because the cops broke a few rules and violated a few civil rights in order to nail the perpetrator. Because the bad guy gets caught in the end, most of the people who watch this show can feel justified in having gotten vicarious thrills in hearing about sexual violence of all types, because supposedly there is a moral point to it all. Supposedly.

So, I'm a sick f**k for liking that show? I like watching it because I find criminal investigations to be fascinating, and Law & Order tends to be more realistic than schlock like CSI (which I will admit I also enjoy watching, though moreso because it's just really cheesy and fun to heckle :P). I don't have a preference for SVU over the other Law and Order series.

Two and a Half Men. Enough said. After Charlie Sheen left the show, and Ashton Kutcher (Walden) took over the house, it jumped the shark. Alan is not funny anymore, Jake is grown up and Berta is hardly seen. I think I can count on one hand the funny moments I have seen in the two seasons that Ashton has been on Two and a Half Men.
Kardashian crap...
Dance Moms especially after the recent slapping incident.
Most of the singing competition shows. American Idol has jumped the shark - I wish Paula, Simon and Randy were still on. That's when A-I had it's biggest audience. It's gone down.
I HATE WIPEOUT WITH A PASSION! Stupid people falling down obstacle courses into the water. Duh! An episode of Family Feud (Steve Harvey of course), with loads of sexual innuendo in the surveys, would be better to watch than this stupid thing.
Any of those stupid Disney Channel "sitcoms". I wish I was born earlier so I could see Vault Disney shorts at a time that was better than 3:00 or 4:00AM (back in the early '00s) Any of those old Disney cartoons are way better than the sitcom crap that's on Disney now.
Several of the Cartoon Network shows (especially Amazing World of Gumball and Annoying Orange) can go too. My nephew (13) watches that crap. Surprisingly, when he is on break or summer vacation he loves watching the old Tom & Jerry cartoons at lunchtime. Kudos to him! More and more kids need to know about those older cartoons, not just the stupid stuff nowadays.
Any Fox cartoons except the Simpsons. That is a legendary show that could probably go to 2020 if not later. Family Guy sucks as does Cleveland and American Dad. Too much sexual content.
