Why is it bad for adults to like kid movies?

No, it reminds you who you are, what you liked as a child, and may enlighten you on another viewing. But it depends, Family movies are great, and alot of kids movies were made by adults, I don't see the problem. Unless you are a fan of MLP (and are not a girl or something) or are way too judgemental on trivial things. Again, not a problem within reason. The only problem I have is marketing and design, some kids movies are way too advanced or symbolic to be nice and wholesome.

I guess you're either like that guy who said that any censorship is a bad thing, giving a quote to the affect/effect of "Don't lie to children, blah blah blah, Death is normal and yadda yadda yadda"

I on the other hand say that white lies can be very beneficial, but it really depends on the story and its not too naive and or vain, self centered etc blah blah blah.

I like watching children's films with my child. I myself as if getting into childhood. Just ideas in my head

What absolute pish!! ! I enjoy a lot of kid-orientated films.

For me, I find that a good kids movie can be a lot more detailed and nuanced than the usual crop of Hollyweird blockbusters that are all flash and no substance

I’ve been in the mood to watch various movies from my childhood. I still enjoy a lot of the same books and movies from when I was a kid. It’s a nice reminder that I’m still the same person.
