I've not seen the new one. The first one is genius. They get gradually crapper after that. T2 was good but a bit too slick. I liked the slightly grittier first one. I just about scraped through T3, but the actors were all empty and the robots were crap, and the lady terminator wasn't very frightening or interesting, and there's a really long and crap car chase in it that I thought was a joke, but I think they intended it to be good.

The show is very good. I watched every episode on blu-ray disc. All the movies are good, but most people probably agree that the new one is the worst of the four of them.

I don't understand how the third movie was even possible. Didn't they destroy the chips and blow up the place that developed Skynet just so that no Terminators or Skynet would ever even have existed?

I... don't know.

Anyway, I liked the first and the second. I didn't like the kid much though. The third was okay, some bits were alright some weren't. The fourth wasn't that good really.

The first two were the best! The 3rd one I thought was terrible. Never saw Terminator Salvation.

Terminator two was my favorite. I love it so much i got the complete set of trading cards + autograph cards for it, a number of years back. I loved the cast, Linda Hamilton especially, as Sarah Connor so much I found it hard to accept the new one but now I love it (The TV Show) especially Summer Glau of Firefly and 4400 as the girl Terminator, I can't wait to see the show get off its feet, it has so much potential.

the series was pretty much awesome, sad about its cancellation :(

my thoughts exactly
the one thing that dragged salvation down for me was the STUPID thing with the heart, why the frell does a terminator, even a "specialised infiltrator" need a heart to survive? that whole situation was just engineered for the sacrifice (which I know was the point, but Marcus is the best thing in the film, possibly the only good thing)

I loved the first three, but salvation made absolutely no sense whatsoever.

One and Two, Two being high on my list of greatest action films of all time. Arnie definitely did his finest work there, it was, dare I say it, a philosophical action movie working on many different levels. I of course love to speculate about the details, such as what either Terminator would do if it completed it's mission; self destruct, get a job and a girlfriend, what? That and the questions that are more esoteric to me, such as how a rare sawn-off 1887 shotgun found it's way under the bar of a biker dive, things like that.

I love terminator.

My favorite is Terminator 2. It is the ultimate masterpiece of action and sci-fi.

I also like The Terminator alot. the action is great. the only thing it suffers from is being a little dated and being overshadowed by one of the greatest movie sequels of all time.

Terminator 3 was okay. the story and most of the acting was bad. (Arnie's always good). But the action was great.

Salvation was bad. Christian Bale is Batman :batman: , not John Connor just like Arnold Schwarzenegger is the Terminator  , not Mr. Freeze.

The tv show sucked

Terminator is one of my favorite series of all time. My favorite was T2 and least my favorite was T3. T4 wasn't bad, it's just that I think Nick Stahl should have come back as John Connor. He was the best John IMO. I hated Chrisitian Bale in that movie.

I am still pissed about Terminator: TSCC being cancelled :(. It was awesome and I loved how it takes place in an alternate timeline after T2 completely forgetting T3 ever existed.

Also Summer Glau is hot and that episode where Cameron is diagnosed with aspergers syndrome was hilarious

As much as I despise the concept of diagnosing celebrities, I've suspected for a while that Summer is an Aspie. Hell ever since I began suspecting this, I've forgotten about the therapist scene. Is it really a coincidence? Back in '08 or whenever the episode was filmed, Asperger's still wasn't too big of a hot topic yet, and I was surprised when I saw the scene. You never know where ideas can come from. It's also common in Hollywood to use details of actors' personal lives for their characters, I've noticed.
