Yeah, throughout the movie Satan follows Jesus through the whole crucifixion and mocks him, and there's one point, during pretty much the most gory beating in the movie (which is saying a lot considering how graphic this movie is) where Satan's holding this deformed monster baby, who's head slowly turns around and does the creepiest smile I've ever seen. I think basically Satan's supposed to be mocking Mary with baby Jesus in the scene.

As for the demon kids, Mel Gibson kind of used them to represent just how strong the guilt Judas was feeling that drove him to hang himself, and the demon kids torment him and don't go away until he finally hangs himself.

I believe when the movie was in theatres there was a lady who actually had a heart attack during the movie. A lot of Christians were offended by how horribly graphic the movie was, but really that's actually how the crucifixion of Jesus was in the bible, so at least we finally got a realistic portrayel. Although, Mel Gibson did use a couple of things from other texts at the time, and also things we don't know for sure, but are strongly suggested (such as Herod being a flamboyant homosexual, complete with his own boy toy o_0)

I recommend seeing it. it's better than the US version.

I saw "The Spiral" which i think is the sequel, and I think it was crap. but "Ring 0" which is a kind of prequel was the best so far.

I havent seen "ring 2".

I didn't like the Gremlins when I was little.

I gusse now though, it would be the Exorcist.

Horror movies don't scare me for the most part. I know one where people going on and on about being horrfying made me just about fall asleep. It was hands down the worst movie I'd ever seen.

the original version of The Grudge. I saw it on a school trip to Virginia Beach at freaking midnight on a bus. the guys behind me kept leaning over the seat & jabbing me in the ribs right at the freakiest parts ...jerks.

In the original "The Eye", I was freaked out by the elevator scene, and by the Teaser trailer wherein the heroine looks into her mirror.

Also the original "Dark Water" near the end of the film, when the mother is in the elevator with the yellow raincoat.

"The Thing", the Dog-Shed Scene and Blood-Test Scene.

"House of 1000 corpses", when we meet Dr. Satan.

Many many movies only without all that overrated special effects. The realistic ones come to mind.

But since I was very little that movie Pet Sematary still scares me to this day! I think it's that Zelda character...





..I don't know, I still haven't gotten over her...

I refuse to watch that movie. Namely because of the animal cruelty. Pisses me off. >8(
