An American Ghost Story.

Despite being an absolutely rock bottom, no-budget film with not a single recognizable actor, this was undoubtedly one of the scariest horror movies I've ever seen. Makes that childhood image of the ghost covered by a white sheet truly frightening again.

Watched The Fault in Our Stars in theatres last week. It was good but not sad.

The Color of Money

Sequel to The Hustler made and taking place 25 years later with Fast Eddie taking a young pool shark under his wing.

Last House On The Left.

Original Was Craven film. Bad dialogue, bad acting, inappropriately upbeat music for such a dark film, and definitely inappropriate slapstick. Even most of the gore and violence was nothing to write home about. I fail to see why this was ever considered a classic of horror cinema, or how the writer/director of the original A Nightmare On Elm Street could have been responsible for this. The sequel can run circles around this piece of crap.

Honey I blew up the kid.

Killer Joe- This is about a family who put out a contract on their matriarch to get her insurance money. It goes to some very dark places. The director is William Friedkin, who made the Exorcist and the French Connection.

Goodbye World. After a computer virus temporarily brings down the government, a group of friends of various ideologies figure out survival strategies.

Edge of Tomorrow. Groundhog day war movie. This was ok, I guess.
