Christopher Lee in a pirate movie, made by Hammer Films. I could write more, but I don't think I need to.

Besides, Trailers from Hell covered this one better than I could:

Hard Candy

A Lionsgate pscyhological thriller starring Patrick Wilson and Ellen Page, directed by Shane Ward.

In short, a very intelligent 14-year-old girl meets up with a photographer she'd been chatting to online, with the motive of exposing him as a paedophile. As the movie poster indicated, the movie something I couldn't look away from as it was a gripping and rather terrifying examination of internet grooming, and all that follows.

Ellen Page was fantastic as 14-year-old Hayley, believably switching between childhood innocence and a very dark (and frighteningly realistic) individual with only one thing in mind: social justice.

Highly recommended, despite the controversial subject matter. Not for the weak of heart though.

Transformers: Age Of Extinction

Latest entry in the Transformers film franchise with Mark Wahlberg taking over
for Shia LaBeouf. In short, this was much better than the previous two Transformers movies, but not as good as the first Transformers movie. I was surprised by the level of sarcastic humor in this.

Despite having a near 3-hour run time, this is highly recommended, even if you hate the previous Transformers movies.

This one came in the same DVD set with The Pirates of Blood River.

It's from the same studio and has the same screenwriter and some of the same actors, but it's not a sequel.

Afflicted.

Two life long friends - Derek and Cliff - document their round-the-world trip on camera, when they first go to France. There, Derek gets lucky with an attractive woman, only to be found by his friends physically assaulted, bleeding, and unconscious. Not wanting to go to the doctor because out of fear that a brain abnormality he has might send him home, he continues on with his trip. Soon, he isn't able to keep food down, and his skin burns in the sunlight. By the time it's obvious he has superhuman strength, speed, along with lust for human blood, it's already too late. Starving for human blood, Derek kills Cliff, and drinks his blood - all caught on camera. Derek tries to commit suicide with a shotgun on camera, only to find he can't die. Chased by the French police for an attempted break in of a blood bank and ambulance, Derek is determined to find the woman who had turned him into a vampire, or kill her. When they finally meet again face-to-face, she tells him he can't stop killing, but he can choose who he kills. So he captures a child murderer for his victim. For such a low budget movie, it's a fairly decent found footage horror flick.

Atlantis: The Lost Empire
The first of what I consider the post 90's good three, the other two being Lilo & Stitch and Treasure Planet.
