Underneath The Skin.

Sci-Fi/horror film starring Scarlett Johansen as an alien, wearing a suit of human skin, poses as a human woman who lures unattached men to their deaths. She is devoid of emotion and has to imitate human behavior, but gradually begins to learn those things. If there was ever a cinematic metaphor for the Aspie experience, this is it.

Transformers: Age of Extinction

Four years after the events of Dark of the Moon, an elite CIA unit has been tasked with hunting down remaining Autobots and Decepticons. When a struggling inventor (Mark Wahlberg) discovers an injured Optimus Prime and repairs him, he is soon dragged into the never-ending conflict. It turns out that the CIA are secretly working with a bounty hunter called Lockdown, who works for neither side.

Same old predictable and unoriginal plot. Though Wahlberg provides likeable warmth and the Dinobots provide some wanton destruction, it was the longest two hours of my life.

Even Ken Watanabe and John Goodman as the voices of the samurai Autobot Drift and the Autobot commando Hound appear to be lost amidst the carnage. Still, if you want a brainless and fun summer flick, check it out. Just don't expect any Oscar winning performances.

This movie begins with Perry Mason sleeping off a drunk behind his desk. Too bad we never got to see Raymond Burr doing that on the TV show.

Mr Foe

Another great movie from Glasgow, if you know what I mean. This one goes deep into a troubled mind. I wanted to stop, but I feel glad that I made it all the way through.

Star Trek 4 is the funniest, for sure. Who could forget the punk on the bus?
