Frankie And Alice.

Haale Barry stars in this based on a true story about a 1960's exotic dancer, named Frankie, perplexed by her own unremembered actions, only to learn she is suffering from multiple personality dissociative disorder. Her psychiatrist, Dr. Osbourne played by Stellan Skarsgaard, uncovers how she shares her body with a little girl named Genius, and a racist white woman named Alice. Uncovering her past through hypnosis, Osbourne finds how back in Georgia, she had loved a white man who didn't care what color she was, but who died in a car accident while traveling with her. She believed her mother killed the white baby she was going to name Alice. The movie doesn't end with her being cured, but with her realizing that a lot of work is ahead of her to get better. Very good movie - catch it if you can.

Caveman

Ringo Starr plays a caveman who befriends a group of outcasts and leads them against a brutal tribal leader.

Noah

Bibicial film about Noah's Ark. It actually doesn't focus much on the animals. Not what I was expecting at all.

It's far from darren aronofsky's best work, but I still enjoyed it. 7/10
How did you like it?

Not very much. A couple of logic holes also bothered me. For starters, when Cain ran off, who did he have children with? Same thing with those twin girls. Who are they supposed to repopulate the human race with if no one else is around?

SPOILER:
IIRC, Cain never repopulated after the bulk of mankind was wiped out. He died on the ark after Noah discovered he was a stowaway.

"Blue Caprice" (2013). Very dark film.

Next I am going to watch "Calvary" (2014)

Colin Furth and Nicole Kidman star in this account of a British WWII veteran who finds love late in life with an army nurse. Soon, the bride finds his eccentric interest in trains (sounds like Asperger's) is tied to his traumatic experience during the war as a Japanese POW, taking part in building a railway. Still horribly traumatized by his experience, Furth finds and confronts the Japanese intelligence officer who had tortured him, only to find that the man he had hoped to kill was haunted by the demons of his own past. He learns even with the most degradation and inhumanity, forgiveness is possible. Both my wife and I got teary eyed. This movie is a must to see!

I saw The Railway Man during its theatrical run and I agree about the movie being a powerful, must-see movie. As for the lead character having an interest in trains, have you read the memoir that The Railway Man was based on?

I admittedly have not.

Hazmat.

As a horror movie, this sucked. Avoid it like the plague!
