I watched the whole series actually. It was pretty good and I didn't realise it was based on a true story.

A couple of episodes about the Jack The Ripper case, one of them from the Biography channel and the other from a series called 'Mystery Quest'. I have an obsessive interest in crime history, but have never really been able to get into the Ripper murders. However, couldn't help being drawn to the case of one Francis Tumblety, an American who has come to the forefront of suspicion in recent times as being the man responsible for the Whitechapel murders of 1888.

I personally think David Cohen (AKA Nathan Kaminsky?) makes a much better suspect. But that's just me.

The first few episodes of Jury Duty - funny as f**k 10/10 highly recommend if you want to see the US judicial system made a mockery of :lol:

An episode of a series called 'The Real Godfathers' on the Biography channel

This deals with a man called Henry Hill, of whom I'd never heard, a New York gangster of Irish and Sicilian heritage who converted to Judaism when he married his wife. This is the guy around whose experiences the film 'Goodfellas' is based. Not utterly captivating, but enough to probably get me to check out the movie in the near future.

The film is iconic. I strongly recommend, although I must confess my current understanding of the Mafia is based almost entirely on that film, so if I have been misled then perhaps I should warn you to keep an open mind.

I decided to watch Obsession, there are just 4 episodes so why not? However something so awful happens at the beginning of the 4th episode that I could see no reason to watch the rest. If anybody knows why I should finish it, do tell!
