Strange Report (1969)

Another British series made by ITC (creators of 'The Saint' and many other series in the 1960s and 1970s). This was shot at Pinewood Studios (not Elstree, as the other 1960s stuff was) and featured a lot more location shooting as well. Starred Anthony Quayle as Adam Strange, a former Scotland Yard detective who now privately investigates some intriguing cases, assisted by one Ham Gynt (played by Lithuanian-American actor Kaz Garas) and Evelyn McClean (former Dr Who assistant Anneke Wills).

The stories are rather mixed in quality, but the better ones are very engaging. The show ran for one series only: a second one was planned, due to be set in the USA, but for some reason was cancelled.

Krapopolis episode 2. Pretty disappointed with this so far. Dan Harmon is something of a writing hero of mine. Community is one of my all-time favourite shows and I've been waiting for years for the wind to go out of Rick and Morty's sails to see what else he can come up with and its...this. Well. Early episodes of Community weren't great either, perhaps it will get better.

Thought I'd watch it again to see how bad it was. It was really bad but I'm absolutely addicted to it all over again.

The Expanse, a season 3 episode.

At first I didn't like the show, too much violence and gore. Now I know to shut my eyes if there's something gross coming up. And it's a compelling watch. There's mystery in it now.

slow weekend means more telly time

futurama reboot episodes 1 & 2 (streaming on hulu) first watch
10/10 the humour is as funny as i remember, the characters are loveable, whether laughing with them or at them,
the stories are as interesting as they can be for a 20 minute segment. unlike most other reboots i look forward to continue watching this

cobra kai season 1 rewatch (netflix)
i absolutely love this series, the attention to character development is outstanding. all of the major characters have enough screen time, i feel like i know them personally without even meeting them. 10/10

The Goldberg Variation - The X-Files (season 7)

I watched Society on netflips. Shame they cancelled it after one season. I thought it was pretty good towards the end of the series.
