Penmarric (1980)

The final episode. You sometimes wonder what dramatic turn the plot is going to take, and not that much happens really, as in this episode. Maybe that's the point about an older series like this though, with the concentration being on character development and ambient atmosphere rather than contrived, over the top pyrotechnic narrative developments. Not bad overall, I'll give it 7/10.

I have been watching my way through the later years of the modern Doctor Who (she also watches some of them with me). Last night we watched:

Doctor Who "Last Christmas" [S9.E0, Dec 25, 2014] ^{I think it is Episode "0" because it was a Christmas special}

I was very amused when this Doctor Who episode explicitly referenced the "face huggers" from the the Predator/Alien franchise since we have also been watching our way through that franchise.

The pilot episode of NCIS: Sydney.

It was great. I liked it because of some great unexpected humor at some parts.

CBS has started airing the British version of Ghosts, which they've rebranded as Ghosts UK to avoid confusion. That's why I placed quotes around it. The British version was first, originally airing in 2019. I think it is hysterically funny. The American version is funny, even very funny, but the British version makes my sides ache it is so funny.
I feel like Christmas has come early, and it's not just because the stores are advertising Christmas already.
