Two words: Finding Neverland. Well, it was actually more of a bittersweet ending, but the death of one of the characters and that final scene... That final scene... I'm starting to get tears in my eyes just thinking about it...

Yes, but in such a way that it seemed more like a win for him. However, he does win in the sequel.

"The Man Who Wasn't There" - while the main character more or less gets what he deserves, the tragedy is that he never bothered to pursue his own dreams and his own life.

The Bollywood film Devdas (2002)- I usually enjoy Bollywood films, but that one, despite a great cast, is terribly depressing, especially at the end.

The Ashton Kutcher movie, Killers. The ending was really stupid; I think they didn't have an ending planned till the movie was almost done

QFT.

Watched "The Road" a few days ago starring Viggo Mortensen. That movie is so bleakly and oppressively dark.

And here I thought I was going to be the only one.

It's easy to laugh at everything that goes wrong for the protagonists in a comedy because you expect it to have a happy ending... it's a comedy!

They CLEARLY couldn't have been the ones responsible! They didn't have horses! The police arrested them just because they were knights! That's occupational profiling!

There's four popular reasons why:

-It was part of the script (foreshadowed by the other police scenes)
-Budget reasons
-They were trolling us as viewers
-The police actually shut down filming

I was aware of the budget issues, but I had no idea that police actually shut down filming! 8O

I guess it was their own little way to stab at how unjust the police were to them.

Oh no I meant popular theories... not reasons as is "this is why"

Sorry, should have used better wording!!

Listen to Your Heart; I never expected such a sad ending to a wonderful, beautiful movie. I might watch it again but I would cry a lot. The very last scene is meant to be hopeful or inspiring but I don't recover from tragedy in 15 min. like movie characters do.

House of Sand and Fog; Great acting in this movie but I hate it because of the ending. I will not watch it again. The whole movie just seemed pointless to me, why did it have to happen like that? Would it have in real life? Maybe it had to end that way to be a good drama, but that's not the type of ending I want to watch.
