Last ep of True Detective (watched it in order).

Pretty good. Sick of the needless sex and family blah, but I guess they need that to get the commoner on. I liked the cult stuff the best.

Jory - I envy that you are just watching the Shield for the first time (?) - it has great rewatch value but nothing like the first time - you've got a lot of great stuff in store the rest of season 6 and through the series end at the end of Season 7.

Yeah, I've been more than pleased with it. It's been much better than Sons of Anarchy. That show keeps circling the toilet bowl faster and faster each season, but The Shield just keeps getting better. One more episode of Season 6 and then Season 7 and I'm done, sadly. :(

Oh well, it's not like I don't have a million other shows lying around... I still need to finish Deadwood, Elementary, Godzilla: The Series, Monty Python's Flying Circus, The Muppet Show, Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century, and Star Trek: The Original Series, and I think I still have a few episodes of Mission: Impossible and Leverage left, and I've got some shows on my shelf that I haven't even started like 3rd Rock from the Sun, Grounded for Life, and Hustle, and soon I'll have Crossbones, Dracula, The Following, Penny Dreadful... I'm up to my ass in TV shows. :)
