I think Pinnochio was an aspie. He didnt know how to follow social norms and interactions easily and always questioned as to why he should follow them. EDIT- and he was really bad at lying and was easily caught out which is common in aspie children. He wanted to be just like the other kids but knew he was different from them.

Another glaring ommission is Arnie's character from Twins. The stiff gate, monotonous voice and his naivate and lack of knowledge and applications of social norms all spell out ASPIE to me.

Willard. I also think that Crispin Glover may be an Aspie too.

There is a very good/ disturbing movie called Chuck and Buck where the main character is very aspie-ish. It's not a movie for the faint of heart, however, as it deals with sexual abuse and has disturbing sexual content.

I'd have to say Pamela Lee Anderson. She wears a neurotypical mask of being a dumb blonde but she's smarter than she lets on. ie: being able to do multiplication. She perseverates on her body and her image. Her stim is twirling her hair while she's chewing gum. She also has prosopagnosia and hyperlexia and CAPD as well as semantic pragmatic disorder...you just can't tell because they are all invisible disabilities. Anyhow, she keeps calling me asking me to come over to fix her computer. I know that's just because a lot of people have teased her about her dyslexia and dyscalculia. Do you notice that she hand flaps when she gets excited?

I've watched "Taxi Driver" 3x this week and noticed Travis Bickle has some aspie characteristics... how he often does not understand what's being said to him, can't read social cues, will answer questions as though a different question had been asked, is made fun of for looking and acting different. What is that quote he has, something along the lines of "Loneliness has followed me my whole life... I'm God's lonely man."

Kafka from the movie "Kafka". A great movie which I really enjoy.
Like mentioned earlier, Crispin Glover. Espescially in the movie "Twistwer".....not the tornado movie. Now that I think about it the whole family in that film is weird...it's great! I've also kinda thought that the character "Spud" in trainspotting was kinda Aspi-ish.

I forgot.....Without question, the main character in "The Young poisoners handbook" is an Aspi.
A good friend has made the referance that I'm allot like the character.

The doctor in 'Awakenings' seemed pretty AS to me...

Has anyone mentioned Peter Parker from 'Spider-Man'? I am watching it with a friend right now (yes I am on the computer at the same time ). Here is an example of an AS conversation:

Peter Parker: Did you know that some spiders can change their appearances to fit in with their environment? It's a defense mechanism.

Harry Osborn: Why do you think I'd want to know that?

Peter Parker: Who wouldn't?

That's a disorder? Quite normal for me. Although I should have known...I turned to a girl in high school once and asked her if we were really real.
