If Footmen Tire You What Will Horsemen Do by Ron Ormand about communists invading the United States and torturing Christians. I saw it when I was eight years old in a church in the south. The scene of a boy getting a bamboo stake shoved into one ear and out the other while he vomited still haunts me.

I don't know how obscure it is persay or if it counts because it's only nine minutes long, but Rejected is another pretty obscure film i've seen.

I love Donnie Darko.

Plus I think the cover version of Tears for Fears' Mad World is even better than the original. Love it. Beautifully done.

OK....Donnie Darko isn't obscure at all...
Where I live, it's ridiculously popular.
When I first watched it, I wanted to hate it so badly...
I ended up watching it 11 times, and loving every minutes of it.

And of course, another vote for the infamous Pink Flamingos!
(That was real dog crap that Divine ate...)

I would have to say the movie The Last House on the Left from 1972.

For me, it would have to be, no contest, "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians" (1964)

My grandparents gave me that on VHS as a gift when I was six. I remember tearing off the wrapping paper and being like, 'what the hell?' Later my dad put it on for me and it was horrendous, not a good movie at all. I think I left it at their house.

I loved it. Totally funny and crazy and perverted.

Glad to hear FZ has another fan. 8) I love seeing Danny as the devil, and still listen to a lot of the tracks from it.

To add another cult to the list, Todd Browning's "Freaks" from 1932. Very creepy horror film that will never be remade because they used people that made their living as "circus freaks" as the actors. I recommend renting it, or at least checking out clips on youtube.

"Pi " and "Freaked"

are probably the most obscure movies I have seen.

Begotten - must be seen to be believed. god commits suicide in the first scene, then it gets much weirder.
The Immoral Mr. Teas
David Lynch's short films
Shock Treatment - the sequel to RHPS
Song Of The South, the forbidden disney movie, which is so much better than most disney movies.

umm... Ninja Bachelor Party is probably the most obscure. it was made by the late great comedian Bill Hicks and his best friend. brilliant.

Faster Pussycat isn't that obscure, as John Waters himself proclaimed it to be the greatest movie of all time...

"I don't know what your point is..."
"The point is of no return and you've just reached it!".

"What could I do? I'm tied to this chair for life",
"Then you should be nailed there!"

"When you hurt someone the authorities become aroused!'
