The character "Mikey" played by Elijah Wood in "The Ice Storm" seems kinda aspie-ish.
His younger brother "Sandy" did too.

hmm... come to think of it, ALL SUPERHEROES have aspie traits!

also, i'm thinking the main character in I <3 Huckabees is an aspie. He's absorbed in trying to make sense of the world. Actually, pretty much everyone (except for the people played by Jude Law and Naomi Watts) in that movie seems to have aspie traits.

I was surprised to find that Calvin from the Calvin & Hobbes comics is an aspie. This does make a lot of sense though! He's always in his own little world, he's just friends w/ Susie, he gets picked on, and his mind tends to drift. why didn't i notice that before? this is why he's my freakin hero!

I always loved Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes. Identified with him even. Now I know why. I collected all the books at some point but don't have them anymore

I'd like to nominate the character 'Frank Dixon' in The Terminal as the Evil Aspie.... or at the very least as the Evil OCD guy.

For a TV show how about Tim Taylor on Home Improvement; hes clumsy, hes obsessed with tools, cars, and more power, sometimes hes not the best speaker in the world (foot in mouth disorder), he tries to be funny but is more annoying :-p. Sounds aspieish to me.

Though I'm actually mocking the movie, I nominate Duke from Golgo 13: The Professional. He's either an Aspie or a Mary Sue. I can't tell which. Let's see, he has no expression, no affect, no inflection in his speech patterns, no personality, and is a professional assassin. He must be the most unappealing and uninteresting protagonist in the history of anime. And somehow, he is shown having sex with every woman in the plot, like James Bond, including som unnamed perk girl at the beginning who is never seen or heard from again or even referred to. His expression is still stone cold and lifeless during sex as well.

The youngest brother "Walt" in the film "The world according to Garp" sorta reminds me of me as a child.

I thought Travis Bickle was very As, and Marcus from About A Boy. It's odd that I kinda thought I was a bit like both those characters.

Why do I always miss the obvious
I already mentioned this film and that character seems very aspie to me.
A well socialized one at that.

Some minor character in The Day After Tomorrow I think had Aspergers, as demonstrated by his obsessiveness toward the Chinese reporter (that's my guess anyway), which reminds me of how much I sometimes obsess about "oriental" girls.

I think Gollum has AS. He spends most of his time by himself, has poor social skills, is sensitive to light, "stims", and is obsessed with a particular topic. He also experiences alienation, which is a pretty common phenomenon for people w/ AS.

I know it's a TV show instead of a movie but I believe that Marshall Flinkman (Kevin Weisman), the guy who creates the gadgets for Sydney Bristow's (Jennifer Garner) missions on Alias is an Aspie.

I also think that Dave (Tobey Maguire) in Pleasantville is an Aspie as well.

The dude from the 40 year old virgin seems to have aspie like traits.

The roomate girl Kit from the movie "Failure to Launch" looks totally aspie to me. She is so cool because she doesn't make an effort to socialize, she just lets herself be.
