Both the main characters out of One Foot are Scottish :)

Are you sure. I realise the Richard Wilson was born here but Victor Meldrew's wife is English i think. I think they got a Scottish actor to reinforce the stereotype of the Scottish as being whinging misers so im not impressed. It also seems to be a running theme in English television that every Scottish or Irish character is either a tramp or a criminal or both.
