I'm just starting this to get the ball rolling. Anyone remember the last time Disney themselves made a classic feature film that didn't bomb or get panned? Me neither. They still occasionally release good movies under the Disney name, but it's usually under a different studio, like Pixar or Studio Ghibli.

It's sad how the movie industry, in a way very well similar to the music industry, is filled with garbage that is made to appeal to the mainstream for the sake of money and popularity. Can't they just do it for the love of making movies instead of worrying about "what if we don't end up making an x billion amount of money".

So yeah, talk about sellouts.

The Princess and the Frog did very well critically. As of now, it has a 84% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

At least they're showing classic cartoons on the Disney Channel again. I just wish they'd show them in their original form and not have to edit them with an annoying voice over.

Wait, so you mean Disney Channel's actually VOICING OVER their classic cartoons for kids stupid enough to think "what the hell are they doing"? I think I died a little inside. :(

They do the same thing in anime, which is precisely why I don't like it. By that I mean that the characters have to explain what's going on in their minds when silence would suffice.

"AHHHH! HOW DID HE BLOCK MY ATTACK?!"

Walt Disney was a wonderful man who truly believed in creating a magic world for children.

But after his death the company was taken over by money hungry scumbags who just want to squeeze every last dollar out of it.

All aboard the sequal train. What is it with Disney's obession with making sequels, and even seuels to sequels. Lion King 2 was a good sequel but the third one was a disaster and Disney needs to be b***h slapped for even thinking it up.

That's my belief also. Walt Disney was a complete genius, no doubt about that. A pioneer of animation for sure. It's very sad to see the people who took over making sh*tty movies/shows/music under his name. He must be rolling in his grave.

Speaking of Disney movies... Who remembers the amazing toys they came out with in the 90's?

HAHA WHAT?! Disney should exclusively make toys like that for the perverse-minded adults like us. :P
