I'm writing a fanfic, where Charlie and Amita have a 2.5 y.o. son diagnosed with PDD-NOS. So far, I have Charlie in denial. What would it take for him to face the reality of the situation?

actually, now I changed it to where kid is diagnosed with a developmental delay, and Amita still thinks it something in the AS. What would it take for Charlie to agree with her and finally see that kid has PDD?
