My favorite channel, Discovery Health, is being replaced by OWN, the Oprah Winfrey Network, for annoying reasons: popularity, which means, no Mystery Diagnosis, no Dr. G: Medical Examiner, no Mystery ER, no Medical Incredible, no Babies: Special Delivery, and just about every other item of entertainment! Thank you, Oprah Winfrey, for completely annhialating Discovery Health, and thank you, Discovery Communications, for cutting off it's life supply by saying it's not popular enough to air quality programming!

Oprah is repulsive. And also annoying and irrelevant:

I was hoping no one would notice. ;) The video is remarkably applicable to Oprah show.

Bummer. I was pretty disappointed when Planet Green took over Discover Home too. I'll miss Discover Health. Damn you Oprah! Don't you have a school to build somewhere?

She's a black Rosie O'Donnell. She doesn't know when to stop.

I'm sad about that. :( I only had Discovery Health once in my life, and I loved it. I've always wanted to have it again, but my psychiatrist doesn't think it's a good idea because one time I gave myself a psychosomatic illness by watching Mystery Diagnosis.

I've loathed this woman for years. She started in the humblest of places and worked her way up to the top. That should make me respect her. And yet seeing a woman who had so much to overcome gadding about soaking up the love of her almost cult-like following and saying, "Only $200 for one outfit? Wow, that's a deal!" just makes me want to shoot paintballs at her expensive wardrobe. (This is from the days when I watched her show, some ten or more years ago) She also insisted that you didn't need a personal trainer to lose weight and helped her personal trainer and personal chef to publish books to prove it... Only how would she know, really, that you don't need them?

But those magazines at the grocery store are just too much. I cannot fathom the gargantuan appetite for attention that requires her to spend her masses of money to publish a magazine with her name on it and that always bears her portrait!

So I'm glad to help roast her. I don't even have that station, but I'll put down Oprah.

Yeah this proves the world is going to hell. Or already has. DirectTV got rid of my G4! I loved X-play. Now with Discovery Health being replaced by -shudder- Oprah's network... What next?

If Wikipedia is to be believed, Dr.G will probably be moving to TLC after Discovery Health goes off air. Hope this is true.

dyingofpoetry,

Thank you for this comforting news. I hope it is true. Dr. G is eerily hot in a MILF who makes a Y incision in you way. But what of all the wonderful features such as super obese people, strange incurable diseases, hoarding, doctor's working in prisons, documentaries on human sexuality, plastic surgery shows... etc. The list goes on. Oprah is dealing this country a tremendous cultural blow. We need to see people worse off then are selves so we can feel better about ourselves.

Damn Oprah, why doesn't she stick to giving cars away, discovering a**holes like Dr. Phil, and starting reading clubs.

She has no business denying an aspie his guilty television.

Damn her I say ... and I suspect there maybe some witchcraft involved.
