A movie or series of short films I've been puttering around with writing for a while now.

In the wake of World War III, the last remnants of humanity live in huge domed cities, surrounded by the ashes of the old civilization. In the cities, life is comfortable and safe, but in the outlands, beyond the protective walls, it's a different story. Strange, unearthly beings known as Wraiths stalk the land, and when night falls, as sure as darkness, they will come.

Paul Seaton is an outlier; a survivor living outside the walls of any city. He and others like him survive on their wits, skills, and whatever technology they can scavenge that the cities throw away. During a routine supply run, he comes across a young woman claiming to be from one of the cities. A woman, it becomes apparent, with a strange and terrifying connection to the Wraith.

With the government hot on their trail, Paul realizes that he's in way over his head; something that threatens to engulf the human race in yet another all-out war. This time, though, it won't just be about resources, politics or nationalism, but the survival of a species; a genocidal campaign unlike anything the world has ever seen.

It's meant to be a post-apocalyptic sci-fi action/thriller with horror elements.
