its writing is ass. the continuity is pissed on. the political jokes are lame. the characters are all a**holes. there is no relevance. it's mental retardation.

I thought that when I first watched it, it took quite a while to get into. You actually realise its smarter than you first thought. Everyone has a different sense of humour I guess. I didn't like the characters when I first watched it. But I love them now.

Family guy is too offensive to be funny. :x They have made fun of too many people and disabilities! Im shure that one day they will make fun of autism. *grumble* *grumble*

whaa. They're equal opportunity offenders. No one is off limits.

Yes, they're offensive, especially the new ones. I saw the one that included the "Down Syndrome Girl". They're almost as offensive as South Park now.

Oh get over it. Most of the time, they're actually showing how the society views things or people. And "too offensive to be funny" is a ridiculous statement. I'd laugh like hell if they made fun of autism. If people can try and see the funny side to everything they can, they'll be a lot happier.

Of coarse it's offensive, and most of the characters are despicable - that's what makes it so great!

I'm guessing you used to have a bunny but don't anymore.

They have made fun of autism, in a deleted scene in season 7 or 8 I think, about an autistic stand-up comedian. Do I care? No! I loved it. Trust me, its not an offensive joke.

Family Guy is brilliant, and Seth Macfarlane has an amazing character and singing voice (he is making a swing album) :D. A true genius.

Also people, you won't die if you like Family Guy and South Park .

One of the greatest scenes in the show:

Well I think the past couple of seasons have been an improvement over that overtly liberal season where Seth MacFarlane was preaching all his political views through Brian in just about every episode.

My five year old daughter loves the Peter/chicken fights. :D

(Sigh) Yes, I let my daughter watch Family Guy. I can already hear boos and hisses from the peanut gallery. :(

I didn't say I don't like the show. Family Guy is still one of my favorites.
