The Dr. Strangelove character from the movie "Dr. Strangelove" because he's into science
sometimes seemingly at the expense of typical cultural values, and he has a German accent
and also that alien hand thing.
The Mandrake character from the movie "Dr. Strangelove" because he can recognize insanity
when he sees it, but pretends to play along smoothly without himself becoming insane, and he
tries to save the day when he gets the opportunity to do so.
Vic from "A boy and his dog" because he just wants to get laid, he favors his animal companion
over other people, and he wants no involvement with the religious underground society, but he
doesn't want to harm them, either.
Ren from "Ren and Stimpy" because he's intelligent, mischievous and at times a little too
angry, but not usually without reason. Ren is sometimes also an insomniac and his character
is used to explore different emotional issues.
