In Sanctuary, Episode 8, Season 1 the boy is said to have Aspergers, when his father shoots himself he makes an O ring with his mouth and turns his hand one finger in his ears... Why do they make us look like ret*ds? I love this show but that really upset me, people who will see this might think those with Aspergers are like that...

Because Asperger's is a form of autism, and autism means retardation in the minds of Hollywood.

It's just outrageous. We may seem odd but in many things we are smarter and superior to neurotypicals.

I guess we are easy targets and we are thought of as not standing up for ourselves and defending ourselves.

Ridiculous, I do exactly the opposite! If someone offends me or even bumps into me I will tell him to his face what I think of him and it usually isn't pleasant to hear.

I am the same-but Hollywood and the media has that perception of us-they got it totally wrong.

Because TV is marketed to ret*ds, and they need to be spoon fed their entertainment so they can avoid that mind-numbing pain festival called THINKING

Most Movies nowadays are so predictable if you have an intellect above 120 IQ on the Wechsler Scale. The last really good movie I saw was Eagle Eye. Most movies entertain but they don't surprise me. I like movies that show me lots of different locations, last a long time, show me loads of different people and plot turns and that keep surprising me.
