...a while back, and I have reason to believe that Ikaros has Asperger's syndrome. Even if she's very high up on the spectrum, she displays savant-level intelligence, is very bad at showing emotions, and has an abnormal attachment to watermelons. Anyone on here agree?

Kind of made me think of it too. Well the in show reason is that she was designed with high combat strength and intelligence, while she has low emotional ability and understanding, with her sisters being high in the parts but Nymph having low combat abilities and Astraea having low intelligence. I do quite enjoy seeing Ikaros trying to understand emotions, and her strange interest watermelons, she even held a funeral for one.

Maybe also put Sugata with usual lack of showing emotions and interest in discovery.

My favourite character would probably be Chaos from Forte, she was a bad guy most of the time, but she mostly just wanted to understand.
