Well more like the Voldemort Harry Potter and the goblet of fire to be more specific and why couldn't the movie company make lord Voldemort look the way he did from the first movie ? I cannot take this version of Voldemort seriously:

and think this is closer to the Voldemort from the books

What was the first Voldemort too scary for children, so they had to make him goofy, non threatening and over the top hammy ? He's not scary to me and looks like he secretly cries himself to sleep at night :( Thanks Hollywood for ruining Voldemort!

I disagree. The Voldemort in the first movie looked much cheesier than the one in "GoF" and the rest of the movies.

He keeps making too many funny noises for me to be afraid of him.

What about his over-the-top moments ? I agree and think his laugh from Deathly Hallows part two is what did it for me ..

I blame the actor personally. Ralph Fiennes is usually pretty good though.

I think it might be more the director for giving Ralph wrong directions on how to portray Voldemort :/ Do you guys still read Harry Potter even after it ended ?
