It's been a while since I've seen it. The last thing I saw, Betty was leaving to marry Francis.
I really loved that show and should go back and watch it some more. Who are your favorites? Mine are Betty, Joan, Don's boss who had the heart attack, what's his name? Also the one guy from the office who wore the glasses and got the job of tv commercials.
I don't know how much I'll like it as the times change and it turns into the later 60s though. Also, for some reason I just do not like Don. Do you?

I both like and dislike Don - he's such a complicated character.
Roger Sterling is the name of Don's boss with the bum ticker and who still smokes.
I'm afraid I don't recall the name of the glasses guy, but he sure got the fear of God put into him this newest episode when Don's new wife caught him making fun of her and her sexy song and dance she had done for Don the previous night at his surprise birthday party.
I really like Don aka Dick Whitman (part of the time), as well as Joan, and even the hateable characters like Roger and Pete. As well as the Chick who rose from being a secretary to the creative department. I really liked the former gay art director, Sal, but we haven't seen him for sometime since he got fired by Don.

Haven't seen the new wife. The girl was Peggy something wasn't she? The one who was pregnant and didn't know it. It was funny when she went to the OBGYN that Joan sent her to. I remember when doctors would smoke in the office like that.
I liked Sal too, and I'd like to see him come back. I also liked the liberalish guy with the beard. He wanted to be a liberal and was too afraid to go with his gf on that voter registration thing lol! I don't like how Don is always messing around, and I think he does it more than was "expected" of those guys back then. I think he's got some serious problems that are going to really mess him up one day. Not just the messing around bit, but the trust issues, etc.

Your right about her name being Peggy. And her baby, if you recall, was Pete's.
The new wife was a later secretary who absolutely fell in love with Don, and vice versa. She's very intelligent, and very sexy.
I also liked that liberal guy with the bohemian beard. Funny thing is, now that their rivals at another agency had dumped water on a civil rights demonstration, black protesters flocked to Don's agency for jobs. When someone suggested getting rid of the idiot receptionist, someone else said, "We can't have one of them out there!"
Check out the show again - I think you wouldn't have much trouble catching up. A lady at our church just yesterday (Sunday), who is old enough to have been a teen and young adult in the sixties, said she was going to watch it for the first time. She agreed, there was repression of homosexuals, and overt racism that would seem stupid and out of place today.
